Umpiring

A current list of umpires is in the Chelmsford & District Netball League Handbook. Please book your umpires using this list with plenty of notice before games, using a suitably qualified umpire for your division:

Division 1 - B award or above for all home games. Away games may be covered by those umpires on our C approved list OR have completed their AB Written paper (of which is still valid).

Division 2-8 - C Award or above.

Division 9-10 - IO Award or above.

Division 11 - Unqualified or above. BUT these umpires must be deemed “trainee” by England Netball. This means these umpires must have completed the 2x IO online sessions with England Netball to be able to umpire at CDNL.

If your game is cancelled - don't forget to tell your umpire!

Courses & Information

The Senior and Junior Leagues will be running courses this year so there should be something for everyone, so no excuses! All courses will be indoors, the venues and cost to be confirmed. If there is sufficient demand it may be possible to run a course during the week.
